NSF NCAR @ SC24: Drop by our booth for learning, networking, and snacks!

NSF NCAR and CISL have a slate of activities planned for SC24 in Atlanta at the Georgia World Conference Center, November 17 to 22, 2024. You can find us in Booth #931, where we will feature presentations, opportunities to meet with CISL staff experts on a range of topics, and an in-booth reception.
SC24 Booth Schedule
Come join us in our booth Monday evening during the opening gala from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. On Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., we’ll have a small in-booth reception with drinks and snacks. We’ll also have some cookies, popcorn, and drinks Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. for students and SC24 Family Day. Everyone is welcome!
In addition to these activities, we will also feature a series of presentations on activities at NSF NCAR and CISL, including our supercomputer, Derecho. CISL staff will also be on hand throughout the exhibition.

- Allison H. Baker will participate in the presentation, "Boosting Earth System Model Outputs and Saving PetaBytes in Their Storage Using Exascale Climate Emulators." 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in location B312-B313A.
- This work has been selected as a finalist for the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Gordon Bell Prize for Climate Modelling, which will be presented at the SC24 conference.
